Rotterdam aan Zee

A theatrical evacuation, an immersive play about climate change taking place in and around a bus that’s helping you escape a ‘flooding’ city at nightfall

Goal

You can read about climate change and its consequences, but for people who haven’t experienced those consequences yet, the issue often remains too abstract to truly worry about. This play makes those consequences tangible for people living in Rotterdam, blurring reality with fictional encounters that demonstrate how painful it is to evacuate your home because of flooding.

Anyone living in Rotterdam, brave enough for immersive theater.
