An exhibition in which plants take the centre stage. It shows us that they are just as active and decisive individuals as humans, not inferior to us at all. All the plants hanging, standing, and acting in the exhibition were made from recycled paper pulp i

This exhibition invites you to think about our relationship with the natural world. It is a celebration of the beauty and unrecognized power of plants, and a call to action to protect and safeguard our planet. It invites to challenge the dogma that humans are superior in the natural world.

In this exhibition Sunflower Soup talks about the lesser known, unrecognized powers of plants (Learning) and it imagines a world in which plants reign supreme (Imagining). All to let people act in a more gentle, caring way towards the natural world (Inspiring). The works in the exhibition are made through workshops with a wide range of people (Co-creating). By working, thinking and feeling so intertwined as a collective, and distributing the power to create to non-traditional artists, Sunflower Soup challenges the closed-off ways of the art industry (Subverting).
