Groter dan ik

Produced for a school assignment, this song quickly gained traction as one of the protest songs for the Dutch climate movement. It’s a song about the climate crisis, our vulnerability in it, and our responsibility to it.

Goal

With this song Froukje draws attention to our collective future. The climate crisis that looms over us is bigger than us all, but we shouldn’t let that stop us from individually doing our best. She tells us that we all can and have to make changes to lessen our impact on the planet.

1. Make them aware that there are truly a lot of hands to help tackle the climate crisis 2. Encourage them to take responsibility as an individual without succumbing to the pressure
