In the face of climate change, the nitrogen crisis and decline of biodiversity, a group of ‘nature guardians’ is taking the initiative to care for nature. The goal of the movie is to celebrate them, but also to inspire a whole lot of new guardians. These stories of people who start protecting nature, each in their own way, without knowing the outcomes are necessary to let more of us take direct climate action.

Connecting to nature shows us not only what we’re fighting against, but what we’re fighting for.

By showing different ways and scales at which one individual can make a difference for our planet, others may do the same (Inspiring). Although companies and governments often tell us that one individual can make a difference, the task can be daunting in practice. This documentary might help overcome this fear, since it shows how people are already doing it, and that you don’t have to have a clear outlook on the result to start (Empowering)
